It’s always a bit of a challenge prepping and uploading concert footage when you’re not at home, on vacation and using someone else’s internet connection, but I’ve managed to put up a few vids from Coachella 2012 in the last couple days. Here’s just a few of what will be many to come.
***UPDATE***: I have taken down a bunch of my Coachella 2012 videos. 3 of my videos have unfortunately been struck by “Copyright Infringement Strikes” by Warner Music Group and Cashmere Agency. So to avoid getting more strikes I’ve taken a bunch of video down temporarily. This whole situation annoys me a lot because my accounts recently had become free of strikes. Now I can’t upload any unlisted videos again for who knows how long.
Here’s what’s funny about this. The videos that were taken down had been content ID’d by YouTube which means ads were placed on behalf of the copyright owners… but instead of making money of the hits the videos received and everyone being content, the two companies took the extra step to force the videos down and basically punish a fan for sharing a concert experience and promoting the music. Way to go guys. No wonder major record labels are going to shit.
