18. – Rykka at Rifflandia 2012: Blackie – September 14, 2012
One of my favourite sets from Rifflandia 2012. Rykka asked me to record her set. The big challenge was the venue. Alix Goolden Hall is notorious for having dim lighting and a lot of echo in the room. I was able to get a board feed to supplement my own recording and the lighting worked out well for most of the performance. This is one of my top moments of the year mostly because it was a fun shoot and it was nice to be able to have full access and not have to be paranoid about security for once.
